  1. What countries can receive training/consultancy?
    Janette is based in Melbourne, Australia, but will travel to most countries.

  2. What is the cost for the training/consultancy?
    Janette endeavours to keep costs to a minimum, and will individually evaluate your request according to your availability of funds.
  3. What length of time is the training?
    Training is available from a few hours to a few weeks.
  4. Are there other trainers available?
    Janette has a wide network, so other trainers may be available according to the request and timing.

  5. Who will benefit from the training?
    Janette can design the training to suite a wide range of needs and situations. For instance, the training can be suitable for foster and adoptive parent, Sunday school teachers, pastors, social workers and child caregivers in institutions.
  6. Is the training culturally sensitive?
    Janette has lived, worked and trained in a variety of countries and consequently the training is culturally sensitive.
  7. What topics can be covered?
    There is a variety of topics, but some are child development, attachment, loss and grief, trauma, child protection, caregiver care, Convention on the Rights of the Child, models of care (foster care, adoption, small group homes, institutions) play etc.
  8. Does Janette provide individual supervision?
    Yes, individual supervision can be provided by email, telephone/Skype, or in person.

  9. Is assistance given to plan a conference or seminar?
    Yes, there is liaison between Janette and the organisation to plan the training.
  10. How far ahead do I need to plan a conference?
    It is advisable to plan at least 3 months ahead, depending on the size of the seminar and conference.
